DUBA
Duba was born on the Adriatic Riviera surrounded by dozens of baleras (Romagna dance halls). He began collecting LPs and DJing as a teenager and was among the first, in the early 1990s, to rediscover the sound of Italy’s grooviest soundtracks. For years he will have a legendary record store in Cattolica called Down Beat and then inaugurate his productions on Cinedelic Records, coming in close contact with the various Masters of the genre (E. Morricone, A. Alessandroni, G. Sorgini, S. Brugnolini, A. Trovajoli, S. Cipriani, E. Macchi, etc.).
To date it has over 30000 original LPs and Cinedelic has within it 6 sublabels dealing with Afrobeat, Japanese Jazz, and even Italo Funk/Disco.
