Polly Love
The child of two music obsessed parents, it was a chance wander up the stairs of The Fox & Pheasant pub in Dublin that first introduced me to Northern Soul. In 1992, age 19, I was running Northern Soul nights as part of The Celtic Soul Brothers crew & have been hooked ever since.
Over the years I’ve run various gigs including Graham Day & The Gaolers, The Spitfires, French Boutik, Jerry Dammers & of course our very own Eddie Piller and shared the decks with some of Irelands, the UK & Scotlands finest spinners. Having played London’s Modcast Boat Cruise, Glasgow’s Mixed Up Vinyl Club, Dublin’s Pow City & Soul Fusion and back to Belfast for This Is Mod, it’s been quite a trip…..
